Description
How much fun? Offered for sale is this very good example of one of Remington's most successful & popular pump action rifles made. First introduced to the commercial market in 1956, the 572 Fieldmaster rifle incorporates a tubular magazine capable of feeding .22 Short, .22 Long, or .22 Long Rifle rimfire cartridges, a cross-bolt safety & an aluminum receiver dovetailed for scope mounts. The Model 572 uses many of the design features first introduced on the Remington Model 870 shotgun. Introduced in 1956 as well, the 572A featured a 22.75 in (57.8 cm) barrel, an uncheckered hardwood pistol-grip stock & a grooved forearm. These were discontinued in 1988 & this rifle is one of these. Trick question...how much fun can you have with this rifle? Probably way too much! We are not going to try & rate the condition out of 100 as everyone seems to have a different opinion on what the percentages should be, so we'll let the pictures be the description. You will know if this is for you so view the photos carefully & make your decision based on what you see as they form the main description & override all written information. Ask for more if desired. We think we have described it accurately & correctly but do not claim to be infallible so if we have got anything wrong, it is unintentional. Whilst we check these out for serviceability, the warranty has expired & this is sold on an 'as is' basis. As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting. Standard cost for shipping to metro locations is $55 & all guns are sent via StarTrack without insurance but packed very well.
