How much fun? Offered for sale is this very good example of one of Remington's most successful & popular pump action rifles made. First introduced to the commercial market in 1956, the 572 Fieldmaster rifle incorporates a tubular magazine capable of feeding .22 Short, .22 Long, or .22 Long Rifle rimfire cartridges, a cross-bolt safety & an aluminum receiver dovetailed for scope mounts. The Model 572 uses many of the design features first introduced on the Remington Model 870 shotgun. Introduced in 1956 as well, the 572A featured a 22.75 in (57.8 cm) barrel, an uncheckered hardwood pistol-grip stock & a grooved forearm. These were discontinued in 1988 & this rifle is one of these. Trick question...how much fun can you have with this rifle? Probably way too much! We are not going to try & rate the condition out of 100 as everyone seems to have a different opinion on what the percentages should be, so we'll let the pictures be the description.
