Ruger has recently introduced the Hunter model to their American range featuring a factory-installed Magpul Hunter American stock which utilises the Magpul PMAG & other good stuff. These new models pair the accuracy & reliability of the American-made Ruger American Rifle with the fully adjustable length of pull, combe height & enhanced ergonomics of the Magpul Hunter American stock. As can be seen, these are configured with a standard grey stock mated with a heavy-contour (.850" at the muzzle) cold hammer-forged barrel featuring a Ruger Precision Rifle Hybrid Muzzle Brake to effectively reduce recoil while minimising noise & blast to the sides of the shooter. Some blurb from Ruger: Magpul Hunter American short-action stock featuring fully adjustable length of pull and comb height and enhanced ergonomics. Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger offers a crisp release with a pull weight that is user adjustable between 3 & 5 pounds. The one-piece, three-lug bolt with 70deg throw provides ample scope clearance and dual cocking cams for smooth, easy cycling. Factory-installed, one-piece Picatinny scope base. Offers MOA accuracy that can make every hunt a success. Heavy-contour (.850" at the muzzle) barrel features a Ruger Precision Rifle Hybrid Muzzle Brake to effectively reduce recoil. This rifle has been fitted with a Magpul bipod & comes mounted with a clear Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24 x 50 to make best use of the long range capabilities of the .308 calibre. With the scope & bipod this would have a RRP cost of around $2,800 & you can buy a lot of ammunition with your savings! We are not going to try & rate the condition out of 100 as everyone seems to have a different opinion on what the percentages should be, so we'll let the pictures be the description.
