The Smith and Wesson Model 686 has long been a favourite with Australian shooters. The reputation it has earned for reliability, accuracy & versatility means there are many sporting shooters who have one in their safe. You can have one in your safe now, for a really good price! We purchased this from a FIFO worker who is leaving the sport due to lack of ability to keep his shoots up, which explains the little used condition. This is a 6'' barrel & would be a great first gun for the novice shooter & an excellence choice for the more experienced shooter wanting to upgrade. With a new 686 priced at around $1,850 we have priced this to sell & you can buy a lot of ammo with the savings if you buy this. We are not going to try & rate the condition out of 100 as everyone seems to have a different opinion on what the percentages should be, so we’ll let the pictures be the description. We think we have described it accurately & correctly but do not claim to be infallible so if we have got anything wrong, it is unintentional. Whilst we check these out for serviceability, the warranty has expired & this is sold on an ‘as is’ basis. As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.
