Offered for sale is this nice 1980’s Winchester 101 XTR ‘Pigeon Grade’. It is correctly marked Made in Japan, as Winchesters of that era were. Considering this, it is in very good condition for its age & collectable to some as the XTR was an upgrade on the Pigeon Grade. The bores are absolutely pristine with not a mark & the action has no unwanted movement & breaks easily. The top barrel has full choke & the lower is improved/modified. LOP is 14” with 30” barrel with extractors, not ejectors & the stock has been modified to increase the LOP (see pictures). This can easily enough be returned to the original LOP of around 13.5'' This is old school quality & would make an ideal first clay target shooting gun or as it was intended as a field gun, a duck hunter.
