About the Benelli Montefeltro Silver Featherweight
The Benelli Montefeltro Silver Featherweight is a lightweight, inertia-driven 12-gauge semi-automatic field shotgun built for upland and walking hunts. It pairs an engraved, nickel-plated lightweight aluminum-alloy receiver with gold accents and an AA-grade satin walnut stock featuring AirTouch checkering and a WeatherCoat finish. At roughly 2.8 kg it shaves nearly a pound off the standard Montefeltro Silver while retaining Benelli's clean, low-maintenance Inertia Driven action, a vented rib, a red-bar front sight, and a set of five Crio choke tubes.
Benelli's signature Inertia Driven system traces to Italian engineer Bruno Civolani, whose elegantly simple, gas-free design uses just a bolt, a spring, and the gun's own rearward recoil inertia to cycle, which is why Montefeltros stay light, run clean, and feed 2.75-inch and 3-inch loads without any adjustment.
