About the Beretta 682

The Beretta 682 is an Italian competition over-and-under double-barrel shotgun built on Beretta's low-profile 680-series boxlock action. Introduced in 1984 and offered in sporting clays, trap and skeet configurations, it features a single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, interchangeable chokes and a heavy competition-weight barrel set. It is a mainstay of clay-target shooting and has been used at Olympic level.

The 682's narrow-frame receiver was slimmed down specifically to shave weight for Olympic trap and skeet shooters, and guns on the 680-series action are famous for enduring hundreds of thousands of competition rounds.
