The Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon is an Italian over-and-under double-barrel shotgun built on Beretta's low-profile boxlock action. A refined sporting and field gun with a single selective trigger, automatic ejectors and interchangeable chokes, it is offered in 12, 20, 28 gauge and .410 bore and is prized for its balance and game-scene engraving.
Beretta's 680-series boxlock action, which the 687 is built on, is famed for its conical locking lugs and monobloc barrels, a design so durable that competition guns routinely fire hundreds of thousands of rounds.
