The Beretta BRX1 is a straight-pull bolt-action centerfire rifle introduced in 2022, Beretta's first dedicated straight-pull hunting rifle. Rather than rotating the bolt to lock and unlock, the shooter cycles the action with a single rearward-and-forward pull of the handle, enabling notably faster follow-up shots while keeping the rifle shouldered and on target. The BRX1 is built around a fully ambidextrous design: the angled bolt handle can be swapped to either side, and a sliding de-cocker with a hinged latch replaces a conventional safety, letting the rifle be carried with a round chambered but the striker safely de-cocked. An eight-lug rotating bolt head (sixteen lugs for magnum chamberings) locks into a barrel extension, and the cold-hammer-forged, threaded barrel can be swapped by the user, allowing a single rifle to change calibers via interchangeable barrel and bolt-face/magazine kits. The polymer stock offers an adjustable length of pull, and the adjustable trigger breaks at one of three selectable weights.

Straight-pull rifles have long been popular among European driven-hunt shooters for their lightning-fast cycling, a niche dominated by Blaser and Merkel. The BRX1 was Beretta's entry into that arena, betting that a fully ambidextrous, user-swappable-caliber straight-pull would broaden the appeal of the format beyond its traditional Alpine following.

Specifications reflect the .308 Win configuration with a 22 in (559mm) cold-hammer-forged barrel, ~3.3 kg (7 lb 5 oz) empty per Beretta, ~1080mm overall length. Trigger adjustable among ~2.1 lb, 2.6 lb and 3.3 lb (values approximate). 5-round high-visibility orange polymer detachable magazine. Muzzle threaded 5/8x24; M14-threaded 16mm barrel profile. Calibers offered include .243 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Win, .30-06 Sprg, 7mm Rem Mag and .300 Win Mag via interchangeable barrels; magnum calibers use a 16-lug bolt.
