About the Beretta BRX1 Grey Birch
The Beretta BRX1 Grey Birch is a 2026 factory configuration of Beretta's straight-pull bolt-action rifle fitted with an aluminum chassis system from Grey Birch MFG. The chassis replaces the rifle's standard polymer hunting stock with a 6061-T6 aluminum platform featuring an AR-style interchangeable pistol grip, a modular M-LOK fore-end with Arca-Swiss compatibility for tripods and bipods, an adjustable cheek riser, adjustable length of pull, and a side-folding buttstock. The underlying BRX1 mechanism is unchanged: a true straight-pull action cycled with a single rearward-and-forward stroke of the ambidextrous, side-swappable bolt handle, an eight-lug rotating bolt head (sixteen lugs for magnum chamberings) locking into a barrel extension, and a cold-hammer-forged, threaded, user-swappable barrel that allows caliber changes while holding zero. A rear-bolt sliding de-cocker with a three-position function replaces a conventional safety. The Grey Birch chassis turns the BRX1 from a driven-hunt rifle into a more precision- and accessory-oriented platform.
Grey Birch MFG built its reputation on lightweight rimfire and precision chassis systems, and the BRX1 chassis brings that aftermarket-tuner ethos to a straight-pull built for speed - mating Beretta's fast-cycling action to an M-LOK, Arca-Swiss, folding platform that a 19th-century driven-hunt shooter would scarcely recognize.

Specifications inherit the .308 Win BRX1 host with a 22 in (559mm) cold-hammer-forged barrel; the Grey Birch chassis adds weight versus the standard polymer stock, so total empty weight, overall length and folded length are left null pending confirmed factory figures for the chassis configuration. Trigger adjustable among ~2.1 lb, 2.6 lb and 3.3 lb. Muzzle threaded 5/8x24. Grey Birch chassis is 6061-T6 aluminum with a ~10 in M-LOK/Arca fore-end; reviewers note the soft aluminum can flex. Caliber lineup mirrors the BRX1 host (6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Win, .30-06 Sprg, .300 Win Mag and others) via interchangeable barrels.
This is a variant of the Beretta BRX1.
