About the Bergara Premier HMR Pro

The Bergara Premier HMR Pro is a Spanish-made precision bolt-action rifle from Bergara's flagship Premier series. Built around the proprietary two-lug Premier action with a separate floating bolt head and spring-loaded sliding-plate extractor, it pairs a No. 5 fluted 416 stainless steel barrel with Bergara's HMR molded stock and integrated mini-chassis featuring an adjustable cheek piece. Chambered here in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 1:8 twist and threaded muzzle, the rifle feeds from AICS-pattern detachable magazines and is widely used for long-range target shooting and hunting.

Bergara built its reputation on barrel manufacturing in the Basque town of Bergara, Spain, before launching complete rifles. The Premier line represents the company's top tier, using the same barrel-making expertise that supplies many other rifle makers.
