About the Blaser R8 Ultimate

The Blaser R8 Ultimate is a premium German straight-pull bolt-action hunting rifle and the flagship configuration of the modular Blaser R8 platform. Introduced in 2022, it pairs the R8's radially locking bolt and manual cocking system with an adjustable one-piece synthetic-and-leather stock featuring an adjustable comb, adjustable length of pull, and interchangeable recoil pads with an integrated recoil-absorption system. Like all R8 rifles it uses a quick-change barrel and a combined magazine/trigger unit, allowing the shooter to switch calibers in minutes. In 6.5mm Creedmoor it is a long-range-capable precision hunting rifle.

The R8 replaced Blaser's earlier R93 in 2008, retaining the signature straight-pull action while adding a detachable combined magazine and trigger group. The Ultimate line sits at the top of the R8 range, targeting hunters who want a fully adjustable, high-end stock and premium finish.
