About the Browning X-Bolt Mountain Pro
The Browning X-Bolt Mountain Pro is a lightweight bolt-action hunting rifle built on the X-Bolt short and long action for backcountry and mountain hunters. It pairs a spiral-fluted, lapped stainless steel barrel wearing a Cerakote finish with a rigid carbon-fiber stock, a threaded muzzle fitted with a Recoil Hawg brake, and Browning's adjustable Feather Trigger, feeding from a detachable rotary magazine.
Introduced as a premium ultralight member of Browning's X-Bolt family, the Mountain Pro targets sheep, elk, and high-country hunters who count ounces on long pack-ins while still wanting magnum-capable accuracy from cartridges like the 6.5 PRC.
