About the Benjamin Maximus

The Benjamin Maximus is a single-shot, bolt-action pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle chambered for .22 caliber pellets. Introduced by Crosman under its Benjamin brand in 2016, it was marketed as the first sub-$200 PCP air rifle, using an accessible 2,000 psi fill pressure and an onboard manometer to deliver roughly 20 to 30 shots per charge from its rifled steel barrel and synthetic stock.

Launched as the airgun that broke the price barrier for pre-charged pneumatics, the Maximus made PCP shooting affordable to hunters and plinkers who previously could not justify the cost of a high-pressure fill setup.
