The Anschütz 54.30 is a single-shot bolt-action smallbore target rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle, developed as an evolution of the legendary Match 54 action for ISSF 3-position and prone competition. Its defining innovation is a threaded barrel-to-receiver connection that removes chamber-area stress for improved accuracy, paired with a bolt shortened by roughly 30 mm (the source of the '30' designation) for a faster, more compact cycling stroke. Built around an adjustable two-stage match trigger and offered across a range of aluminium and walnut target stocks, it is a purpose-built precision competition rifle rather than a sporting or hunting arm.

The Match 54 action, introduced in 1954, is regarded as the gold standard of Olympic smallbore target rifles. The 54.30 modernises that pedigree with a threaded barrel joint and shortened bolt, keeping Anschütz at the forefront of ISSF competition shooting.
