About the Derya MK-12
The Derya MK-12 is a Turkish AK-pattern, magazine-fed gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun chambered in 12 gauge with a 3-inch magnum chamber, made by Derya Arms. It uses upper and lower receivers machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and a 4140 steel smoothbore barrel, paired with a telescopic AR-compatible stock, an ambidextrous charging handle and Picatinny rails. Officially certified by the IPSC for practical shooting competition, it is fed from detachable box magazines offered in 2+1, 5+1 and 10+1 capacities and is sold in several barrel lengths.
Built around AR-style buffer tubes and IPSC certification, the MK-12 was designed less as a hunting gun and more as a race-ready competition shotgun, letting practical shooters swap magazines and stocks as easily as on a modern carbine.
