About the Krieghoff K-80
The Krieghoff K-80 is a German over/under competition shotgun introduced in 1980 for trap, skeet, sporting clays, and Parcours. Built around a removable, serviceable trigger group and offered with multi-gauge interchangeable barrel sets (12/20/28/.410), it is prized for low recoil, steady handling, and an excellent mechanical trigger.
The K-80 is effectively the grandchild of the Remington Model 32: Krieghoff developed that design into the K-32 in the 1950s, then modernized it into the K-80 in 1980 with an improved trigger and interchangeable multi-gauge barrel sets that let a single receiver run 12, 20, 28 gauge and .410.
