About the Krieghoff Semprio

The Krieghoff Semprio is a German in-line repeating hunting rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield among other calibers. Introduced in 2007, it uses a distinctive manually operated in-line action in which the entire barrel-and-forestock assembly is pushed forward to eject the spent case and pulled rearward to chamber the next round from the detachable box magazine, enabling extremely fast, sight-picture-preserving follow-up shots. It features tool-free takedown with interchangeable barrels, a universal trigger, and a combi-cocking device, making it a compact and packable rifle favored for driven hunts.

H. Krieghoff, founded in 1886 and long renowned for high-grade break-action shotguns and double rifles, unveiled the Semprio at IWA 2007 as a radical rethink of the repeating rifle, replacing the traditional bolt with a barrel assembly that the hunter slides forward and back for near-instant follow-up shots.
