The Mauser M18 Long Range is an affordable precision rifle built on the modern M18 action, housed in an MDT Oryx aluminum chassis system. Designed to make long-range precision shooting accessible without a premium price tag, the M18 LR combines Mauser's cold hammer forged barrel technology with a feature-rich chassis that includes an adjustable cheek riser, length-of-pull spacer kit, M-LOK slots for accessories, and a built-in bipod adapter. The 24.4-inch threaded barrel with M18x1 muzzle threading is optimized for both precision and suppressor use, while the 10-round detachable magazine provides ample capacity for extended range sessions.

The M18 Long Range Chassis was introduced in 2021 as a purpose-built precision variant of the popular M18 hunting rifle. The MDT Oryx chassis provides a significant ergonomic upgrade over the standard polymer stock, adding rigidity and adjustability that the base M18 lacked. The M18 action features a three-lug bolt design with a 60-degree bolt throw for fast cycling. Despite its budget-friendly positioning, the M18 LR is capable of sub-MOA accuracy with quality ammunition. Available in .243 Winchester, 6XC, 6.5 Creedmoor, and .308 Winchester.
