About the Perazzi MX2000/S

The Perazzi MX2000/S is the sporting-clays configuration of Perazzi's MX2000 competition over/under, a hand-built Italian break-action shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. Like the rest of the MX2000 family it is built on Perazzi's boxlock action with a detachable (drop-out) trigger group, but the /S is set up for the sporting discipline with a ventilated tapered rib and interchangeable chokes rather than the high adjustable trap rib of its trap-oriented siblings. Each gun is fitted to order with a walnut stock and beavertail forend, and the model has been carried by Olympic and world-class clay competitors since its introduction around 2000.

Perazzi has supplied Olympic clay-shooting medallists for decades, and the MX2000/S appears in the kit lists of international sporting and double-trap competitors who value the platform's swappable trigger group.
