About the Ruger American Rifle Generation II

The Ruger American Rifle Generation II is a complete redesign of Ruger's popular bolt-action hunting rifle. It features a new three-lug bolt with 70-degree throw, Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger, flush-fit AICS-pattern detachable magazine, cold hammer-forged barrel, and redesigned ergonomic stock. Available in Standard, Ranch, Predator, Scout, Prairie, and Patrol configurations across dozens of calibers.

The Gen II represents the most significant update to the American Rifle since its 2012 introduction, incorporating feedback from hunters, competition shooters, and law enforcement.
