The Ruger Hawkeye Long-Range Hunter is a bolt-action hunting rifle built on Ruger's Model 77/Hawkeye platform with a Mauser-style controlled-round-feed action. Chambered primarily in 6.5 PRC (also offered in 6.5 Creedmoor and other long-range calibers), it pairs a 22-inch cold-hammer-forged stainless-steel barrel featuring 5R rifling with a radial-port muzzle brake, a 20 MOA Picatinny rail, and a speckled laminate stock with adjustable length of pull, aiming to combine field portability with precision long-range accuracy.
The Long-Range Hunter extends Ruger's long-running M77/Hawkeye line, marrying its traditional Mauser-style controlled-round-feed action to modern long-range hunting features such as a factory muzzle brake, a 20 MOA rail, and AI-pattern detachable magazines.
