About the Sako Finnfire II

The Sako Finnfire II is a Finnish bolt-action rimfire rifle, the reintroduced second-generation development of Sako's P94S Finnfire chambered primarily in .22 Long Rifle and also offered in .22 WMR and .17 HMR. It retains the scaled all-steel rimfire action with two rear locking lugs and a low 50-degree bolt lift, mating a cold hammer-forged free-floating barrel to an adjustable single-stage trigger derived from Sako's centrefire rifles. Fed by a detachable box magazine and stocked in walnut, it continues the original Finnfire's reputation for out-of-the-box rimfire accuracy among target shooters and small-game hunters.

Prized in European rimfire circles, the Finnfire built a benchmark reputation for out-of-the-box .22 LR accuracy, and the Finnfire II carried the P94S action forward for a new generation of shooters after the original line paused production.
