The Stoeger Condor is a budget-priced over-under double-barrel break-action shotgun manufactured in Brazil by E.R. Amantino and marketed in the United States by Stoeger Industries. Designed to deliver the look, feel, and handling of a traditional Italian-style stack-barrel shotgun at a fraction of the price of a Beretta or Browning, the Condor is offered in 12 gauge, 20 gauge, 28 gauge, and .410 bore configurations with 26- or 28-inch barrels chambered for both 2-3/4-inch and 3-inch shells. Standard features include a single selective trigger with tang-mounted barrel selector, automatic ejectors, screw-in choke tubes, an A-grade walnut stock and forend, a blued steel receiver and barrels, a ventilated barrel rib, and a brass bead front sight. The Condor has built a strong following among entry-level wingshooters, sporting clays beginners, and shooters who want a traditional double gun without spending thousands on a European-built model.

Stoeger's strategy with the Condor exploited a market gap that Italian gunmakers refused to fill: a true stack-barrel shotgun cheap enough for first-time skeet shooters and weekend wingshooters. By outsourcing production to Brazil's E.R. Amantino factory, Stoeger could offer single-trigger automatic-ejector over-unders at price points where serious shooters previously had only pump or single-shot options.

Stoeger Condor specifications

The Condor is built by E.R. Amantino in Veranópolis, Brazil, the same factory that produces the Stoeger Coach Gun side-by-side. The Condor Supreme adds upgraded checkered walnut, a polished receiver, and additional choke tubes. The Condor Competition is configured for sporting clays with longer barrels and ported chokes. The Condor Outback is a 20-inch barrel compact variant suitable for home defense or guide use. Weight ranges from approximately 7.0 to 7.5 lbs depending on gauge and barrel length. The Condor is one of the most affordable over-under shotguns on the U.S. market, typically priced under $500.
