About the Taurus Expedition 6.5 Creedmoor
The Taurus Expedition 6.5 Creedmoor is the long-range chambering of Taurus' first bolt-action rifle, built on the Remington 700 footprint. It carries a 20 in (508 mm) cold-hammer-forged, helically fluted stainless barrel threaded 5/8x24, advertised for sub-MOA accuracy. Like the .308 model it feeds from detachable AICS-pattern magazines and rides in a polymer chassis-style stock with M-LOK, a scalloped saddle cut, and an integrated Spartan Precision bipod mount, all finished in Black DLC.
Taurus rolled the 6.5 Creedmoor Expedition out alongside its .308 sibling, giving buyers a long-range option from a brand that, until 2024, had never built a bolt-action rifle.

Caliber variant of the base Taurus Expedition with a longer 20-inch barrel suited to the flatter-shooting 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge. Manufacturer lists a 1:10 RH twist; some retailers quote 1:8 - the faster twist is more typical for 6.5 Creedmoor, so the twist value carries some uncertainty.
