About the Beretta Victrix Corvus

The Beretta Victrix Corvus is an Italian military-grade precision sniper rifle developed by Victrix Armaments, a subsidiary of Beretta Defense Technologies. Built around a robust AISI 630 stainless steel action with a three-lug bolt design and PVD surface finishing, the Corvus is engineered for extreme accuracy and durability in harsh operational environments. The rifle features a folding stock with fully adjustable cheek piece and length of pull, a free-floating heavy barrel with detachable four-chamber muzzle brake, and a full-length Picatinny rail for optics mounting. The Corvus is guaranteed to deliver 0.5 MOA accuracy at 1,000 meters with match-grade ammunition.

The Victrix Corvus takes its name from the Latin word for raven, continuing the Italian tradition of naming military equipment after birds of prey. When Beretta acquired Victrix Armaments in 2017, it marked a strategic move by the world's oldest active firearms manufacturer to enter the purpose-built precision sniper rifle market for the first time in its nearly 500-year history.

Victrix Armaments was founded in 2008 in Brescia, Italy, and was acquired by Beretta in 2017, becoming part of Beretta Defense Technologies. The Corvus action uses AISI 630 (17-4 PH) precipitation-hardened stainless steel, which provides exceptional corrosion resistance and strength. The PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating adds an additional layer of wear and corrosion resistance. The three-lug bolt design provides a 60-degree bolt throw for fast cycling. The .338 Lapua Magnum variant uses a 26-inch barrel and is the primary military offering.
