About the Weatherby Vanguard Weatherguard Bronze
The Weatherby Vanguard Weatherguard Bronze is a weatherproofed bolt-action hunting rifle, a variant of the Weatherby Vanguard built on the Japanese Howa 1500 barreled action. It is a push-feed, two-lug design featuring a one-piece fluted bolt body, a fully enclosed bolt sleeve, a three-position safety, and a cold-hammer-forged barrel with a factory-threaded 1/2x28 muzzle. An adjustable match-quality two-stage trigger and Weatherby's sub-MOA accuracy guarantee round out the package. The Weatherguard Bronze is distinguished by a corrosion-resistant Burnt Bronze Cerakote finish on the barreled action and a rugged Monte Carlo synthetic stock with bronze spiderweb accents, making it well suited to harsh-weather backcountry hunting. In .300 Winchester Magnum it wears a 26-inch barrel and feeds from a hinged-floorplate internal magazine.
The Weatherguard Bronze pairs Weatherby's all-weather Cerakote-protected barreled action with a grippable bronze-webbed composite stock, a distinctive burnt-bronze aesthetic aimed at hunters who want corrosion resistance and the Vanguard's sub-MOA promise in a rugged field rifle.
