Description The UTV Side Mount 3 Gun Rest is a steel framed Gun Rest and Cradle system that stores a firearm in a safe position while travelling and acts as a stable rifle support for excellent accuracy while taking a shot. It is designed to be mounted in the door way opening of a side x side or UTV vehicle. Usual mounting points are ( but not limited to ) handle bars or roll bar pipes in the door way opening of the vehicle door entrance. The advantages of a mounted firearm in this location are: - Safe Storage - Fast access - Accurate shooting Main Design Features: The Cradle   - acts as a safe storage unit while in stored position. It also doubles as a two point support cradle to help the shooter hold on zero while taking aim,  ultimately delivering an excellent controlled and accurate shot. The Strut Assist Hinge   - allows the passenger or driver to swivel the gun rest out to create space for easy exit or entry of the vehicle. The strut forces the rest to remain closed and locked, but also automatically closes the rest after exiting or entering the vehicle. Swivels and Range of Motion : When the rest is being used as a gun rest, it supports the rifle to take accurate shots. The cradle is mounted on a "Double Swivel Mount" which is a steel arm that pivots in two locations. The reason for this design is to provide excellent range of motion so the shooter can enjoy an excellent aiming range from seated or standing positions.   Mounting Plate and U bolts   - comes with the rest and can mount on to tubes/pipes from 45mm up to 90mm. Quick Release Locking System:   now comes with a quick release lock system that keeps the cradle in perfect and secure lock position and is easy to unlock in seconds.    Adjustable angle:   for roll bars and pipes that are not vertical.
