About the IZh-94 Sever

The IZh-94 Sever is a Russian over-and-under combination gun built by the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant (Baikal). It pairs a 20-gauge smoothbore shotgun barrel with a small-caliber rifled barrel chambered for a rimfire cartridge (.22 LR, .22 WMR or 5.6x39mm), letting a hunter engage both small game and birds without switching guns. It uses a hammerless break-action mechanism, wooden stock, iron sights, and a base for mounting an optical sight.

Named after the Russian word for "North," the Sever is the smallbore member of the IZh-94 combination-gun family, letting a hunter switch between a rimfire rifle round and a 20-gauge shotshell by flipping a barrel selector.
