About the CZ 750 S1 M1
The CZ 750 S1 M1 is a Czech military sniper rifle developed by Ceska Zbrojovka (CZ) for the Czech Armed Forces. Built on a Mauser 98-derived action, the CZ 750 features a heavy 26-inch cold hammer forged barrel with 4-groove rifling optimized for 7.62x51mm NATO ammunition. The rifle uses a synthetic adjustable stock with adjustable cheek piece and butt plate for custom fit, and feeds from a 10-round detachable box magazine. Designed primarily for military and law enforcement use, the CZ 750 delivers reliable sub-MOA accuracy and has been adopted by Czech and Slovak military forces as a designated marksman and sniper platform.
The CZ 750 represents the Czech Republic's commitment to maintaining a domestic sniper rifle capability rather than relying on foreign imports. Built in the same Uhersky Brod factory that produces the world-famous CZ 75 pistol, the CZ 750 proved itself in Afghanistan where Czech Army snipers used it alongside NATO allies, demonstrating that Eastern European firearms engineering could match Western precision rifle standards.

The CZ 750 action is derived from the proven Mauser 98 controlled-feed design, providing reliable extraction and feeding even in adverse conditions. The 26-inch heavy barrel with 1:10-inch twist rate is optimized for standard 147-grain and 168-grain NATO match ammunition. The adjustable synthetic stock allows the rifle to be fitted to individual shooters without aftermarket modifications. The rifle is capable of consistent sub-MOA accuracy at 800 meters with match-grade ammunition. The CZ 750 was developed specifically to meet Czech military requirements for a domestically produced sniper weapon system.
