About the Feinwerkbau 603
The Feinwerkbau 603 is a single-stroke pneumatic .177 caliber match air rifle built for Olympic-style 10-meter target competition. The successor to the FWB 601 and 602 in the 600 series, it carried over the recoilless single-stroke pneumatic system that charges to a fixed pressure on every cocking stroke, delivering highly repeatable pellet velocity shot to shot. With its sidelever charging, fully adjustable match trigger, anatomical laminated-wood stock, and precision micro-adjustable diopter sights, the 603 served as a benchmark precision target rifle through the late 1990s and early 2000s before being replaced by the 700-series compressed-air models.
Feinwerkbau's recoilless target air rifles dominated international 10-meter competition for decades, and the 600-series single-stroke pneumatics like the 603 set the standard that successive Olympic and world-championship air rifle shooters trained and competed on.

Produced from roughly 1995 until the mid-2000s as the final development of the FWB 600-series single-stroke pneumatics, offered alongside a 603 Junior variant with a shorter, lighter stock for younger shooters. Single-stroke pneumatic design gives recoilless, highly repeatable shots ideal for precision 10m air rifle disciplines; superseded by the FWB 700 compressed-air series.
