About the Feinwerkbau Sport

The Feinwerkbau Sport is a break-barrel, spring-piston sporting air rifle chambered in .177 (4.5mm). Produced by the German precision manufacturer Feinwerkbau, it is a full-power adult sporter intended for plinking, field target and small-game hunting rather than 10-metre match competition. The barrel is broken downward to cock the mainspring and load a single pellet directly into the breech, locking up on a ball-bearing detent. It carries a Monte Carlo beech stock with a chequered pistol grip, an adjustable two-stage trigger, open sights and an 11mm dovetail rail for scope mounting, and develops roughly 16 joules of muzzle energy in .177.

Feinwerkbau built its name on dead-still recoilless Olympic match rifles, but the Sport is the company's nod to the recreational shooter: a hard-recoiling break-barrel springer in the mould of the legendary 1970s FWB 124, prized for German build quality and a crisp match-grade trigger in an affordable hunting package.
