About the Franchi Instinct L

The Franchi Instinct L is an entry-level over-under shotgun featuring a color case-hardened steel receiver with A-grade satin walnut stock in a Prince of Wales grip design. The slim, tapered forend with cut checkering provides elegant handling. Available in 12, 20, 28 gauge, and .410 bore with 26" or 28" barrels, it includes three choke tubes (IC, M, F), auto ejectors, and a tang-mounted safety with barrel selector.

The Instinct series marked Franchi's return to the over-under market with Italian-crafted shotguns designed for the upland field. The L model established the foundation for the entire Instinct lineup, offering traditional Italian craftsmanship at a price point that opened quality over-unders to a wider market of bird hunters.
