About the FX Maverick
The FX Maverick is a regulated pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle introduced in 2020 by Sweden's FX Airguns. Built around a dual AMP-regulated 89cc Power Plenum, it was designed from the ground up to drive heavier pellets and slugs accurately. It uses FX's interchangeable Smooth Twist X (STX) barrel-liner system, a two-stage adjustable match trigger, a side-lever action feeding a rotary magazine, dual manometers, and an external rear power adjuster offering multiple macro presets. It is offered in .177, .22, .25, and .30 calibers across Compact (500mm), VP (600mm), and Sniper (700mm) barrel configurations.
FX Airguns positioned the Maverick as a new, simplified platform sitting below its flagship Impact, sharing the regulated plenum and slug-oriented performance philosophy while offering a more streamlined, fixed-configuration design.
