About the Glock 19 Gen4

The Glock 19 Gen4 is the fourth generation of the compact Glock 19, a striker-fired, polymer-framed semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum. Introduced in 2010, the Gen4 added a rough textured frame, interchangeable backstraps to adjust grip size, a reversible enlarged magazine catch, and a dual recoil spring assembly for reduced felt recoil and improved durability. Compact yet full-featured, the Glock 19 is one of the most popular concealed-carry and duty pistols in the world.

The Glock 19 was introduced in 1988 as a compact version of the full-size Glock 17, quickly becoming a benchmark for the 'compact 9mm' class and a favorite of law enforcement, militaries, and civilian carriers alike.
