About the Glock V Series (G19V)

The Glock V Series is a 2026 9mm pistol line built on the Gen5 external footprint but with revised internals - a redesigned trigger-bar geometry, updated firing-pin assembly and recoil-spring setup - and factory optics-ready slides across the range. The line launched with the G17V, G19V, G34V, G45V and G47V (with subcompacts such as the G26V following), all chambered in 9mm. This entry models the G19V compact flagship, a 102 mm (4.02 in) barrel, 15+1 striker-fired pistol with a multi-point internal safety.

The 'V' line reportedly bakes in trigger-bar changes meant to close off the unauthorized full-auto conversion vulnerability that plagued earlier Glocks - a rare case of a redesign driven as much by what criminals did to the gun as by what shooters wanted from it.
