About the Mauser Model 1910

The Mauser Model 1910 is a German blowback-operated, striker-fired semi-automatic pocket pistol chambered in .25 ACP (6.35mm Browning). Designed by Josef Nickl, it was Mauser's first successful self-loading pistol for the civilian and police market, built to the firm's high manufacturing standards with an all-steel frame, an internal striker, and a side-latch takedown. Compact and reliable, it served as a concealable defensive and pocket pistol and was later refined into the larger .32 ACP Model 1914.

Mauser entered the pocket-pistol market dominated by FN-Browning designs with the Model 1910, which built its reputation as a finely machined, dependable concealed-carry pistol that helped popularize the .25 ACP cartridge in Europe.
