About the Savage Renegauge Prairie

The Savage Renegauge Prairie is an upland-focused 12-gauge gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun introduced for 2026 as part of the American-made Renegauge family. It pairs a TrueTimber Prairie camouflage synthetic stock with a Desert Sand Cerakote metal finish and is built around Savage's D.R.I.V. (Dual Regulating Inline Valve) gas system for consistent ejection, reduced recoil and fast cycling. The 3-inch-chambered gun features a fluted carbon-steel barrel with a ventilated rib and red fiber-optic front sight, a fully adjustable stock and three flush-mount choke tubes.

Savage entered the premium semi-auto shotgun market in 2020 with the Renegauge, its first all-new shotgun design in decades and its first to be built start-to-finish in the United States; the Prairie extends that line into the upland-camo niche.

Chambered for 2 3/4-inch and 3-inch shells. The D.R.I.V. gas system uses dual self-regulating valves to handle a wide range of loads without adjustment. Barrel length offered at 26 inches; magazine holds 4 rounds (4+1).
