About the Stevens Bisley No. 600

The Stevens Bisley No. 600 is a rare American single-shot target rifle built around a large-frame British Martini falling-block action and chambered in .22 Long Rifle. Produced circa 1910-1916 specifically for the English match-shooting market, it paired a 27-inch half-octagon match barrel with B.S.A. micrometer aperture sights and a finely finished walnut stock for precision small-bore competition at ranges such as Bisley.

Stevens built the Bisley on a full-size British Martini action rather than its usual smaller frames, and catalogued it as a 'Modele DeLuxe' miniature target rifle priced at five guineas for the English trade — a Massachusetts rifle made expressly to win matches on British ranges.
