About the Anschütz 1903
The Anschütz 1903 is the company's entry-level smallbore match rifle, a .22 LR single-shot used in ISSF three-position and prone competition. Built on the lighter Match 64 action family rather than the premium Match 54, it pairs a heavy match barrel with an adjustable match two-stage trigger and an anatomically shaped match stock with adjustable cheekpiece and buttplate. It is supplied without sights so competitors can fit their own diopter and globe sights.
The 1903 is Anschütz's gateway competition rifle: the rifle on which a large share of the world's junior and club smallbore shooters learn position shooting before graduating to the Olympic-grade Match 54 rifles.
