About the Beretta A400 Solo
The Beretta A400 Solo is a gas-operated semi-automatic 12-gauge hunting shotgun introduced in July 2026 as the value entry in the A400 family. It uses a cold-hammer-forged Steelium barrel with an 80 mm forcing cone in 26-, 28- or 30-inch lengths, a 3-inch chamber and an aerospace-grade aluminium receiver, positioned as a crossover waterfowl and upland gun.
Beretta's Steelium barrels are cold hammer forged then vacuum-annealed and deep-drilled, a process the company borrowed from its own competition guns and pushed down into working hunting shotguns.
