The Glock G23 V is the latest V-series generation of Glock's compact .40 S&W pistol, released in 2025 as part of Glock's updated product line. The Glock 23 was originally introduced in 1990 as the compact counterpart to the full-size G22. The V-series (2025) replaces the Gen5 as the current production model. Weight without magazine is 687g (24.23 oz). The G23 V shares its frame dimensions with the G19 (9mm) and G32 (.357 SIG). The .40 S&W produces noticeably more recoil than 9mm in the compact frame, but the V-series ergonomic improvements help manage it.
