The Pedersoli 1874 Sharps Quigley is a single-shot falling-block rifle built by Davide Pedersoli of Italy as a faithful reproduction of the Sharps Model 1874, inspired by the long-range buffalo rifle carried in the 1990 film Quigley Down Under. Chambered principally for the .45-70 Government black-powder cartridge, it carries a heavy 34-inch tapered octagon barrel with six-groove rifling and a 1:18-inch twist suited to heavy cast bullets fired at extreme range. The rifle features a checkered oil-finished walnut straight-grip stock and forend with a patch box and German silver nose cap, double set triggers and a case-colored receiver, making it a favorite of black-powder cartridge silhouette and long-range target shooters as well as collectors of Old West arms.

The Sharps Model 1874 was the classic buffalo rifle of the American frontier, prized for its accuracy at extreme range.
