The Remington Model 700 Safari is a dangerous-game grade bolt-action rifle built on the classic Model 700 push-feed action and chambered for the .375 H&H Magnum. Introduced as a premium safari-grade offering, it pairs a 24-inch magnum-contour barrel with a select hand-checkered black walnut stock, open express-style sights, a recoil pad, and cross-bolt stock reinforcement to handle heavy magnum recoil. It is intended for hunting large and dangerous game in Africa and other big-game regions.

The Model 700 debuted in 1962 and became the best-selling bolt-action rifle in American history; the Safari Grade extended the platform into the big-bore dangerous-game market dominated by the .375 H&H Magnum, the classic African all-round cartridge.
