About the Winchester Model 150

The Winchester Model 150 is a lever-action .22 rimfire carbine produced from 1967 to 1974. An economy version of the Model 250, it fed .22 Short, Long and Long Rifle cartridges from a tubular magazine and used a lightweight aluminum-alloy receiver. It was fitted with a plain straight-grip hardwood stock, a barrel band and sling swivels, giving it a saddle-carbine appearance, and marked Winchester's return to the .22 lever gun after the Model 1873.

The Model 150 and its sibling the Model 250 revived the lever-action .22 for Winchester, a configuration the company had not offered since the demise of the Model 1873, appealing to shooters who wanted a classic saddle-carbine look in an affordable rimfire plinker.
