About the Browning Silver
The Browning Silver is a gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun chambered in 12 gauge with a 3-inch chamber. Built on a lightweight aluminum-alloy receiver with Browning's semi-humpback profile, it uses the self-regulating Active Valve gas system to cycle both light and heavy loads reliably. Aimed at hunting and sport shooting, it ships with a ventilated rib, brass front bead, satin walnut stock and a set of Invector-Plus choke tubes.
The Silver line continues Browning's long heritage of gas-operated autoloaders dating back to John M. Browning's pioneering 'Auto-5' humpback design, echoed in the Silver's distinctive semi-humpback receiver.
