About the High Standard Supermatic Deluxe

The High Standard Supermatic Deluxe is a gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun produced by High Standard for the American sporting market. Chambered for 2.75-inch 12-gauge shells and fed from a four-round tubular magazine, it features a checkered pistol-grip walnut stock and forearm, a blued finish, and an adjustable choke with six click-stop positions. Later production examples added a recoil pad, and ventilated-rib barrels were offered as an option.

High Standard, best known for its .22 target pistols, entered the sporting-shotgun market in the early 1960s with the gas-operated Supermatic line to compete with the era's popular autoloading field guns.
