The Pedersoli 1816 Harper's Ferry Colt Conversion is a modern black-powder muzzle-loading percussion musket made by Davide Pedersoli, reproducing the American Model 1816 musket as it was altered by Samuel Colt to percussion ignition during the Civil War era. It is a single-shot .69-caliber (17.5 mm) arm firing a round musket ball, built on a 1,060 mm steel barrel giving an overall length of 1,450 mm and a weight of about 4.4 kg, fitted with a full-length one-piece walnut stock. Sold as model S273 and recognized for MLAIC and N-SSA competition, it is intended for historical re-enactment and target shooting.

During the American Civil War, revolver magnate Samuel Colt bought thousands of obsolete Model 1816 flintlock muskets and converted them to percussion ignition, and Pedersoli's reproduction lets modern skirmishers shoot that stopgap wartime arm today.
