About the Walther KK500

The Walther KK500 is a single-shot bolt-action .22 LR smallbore match rifle built for ISSF 50m three-position and prone competition. Introduced in 2016, it uses a one-piece receiver with a three-lug bolt, a tension-free vibration-damped match barrel, and a patented tool-free ambidextrous conversion of the bolt handle and ejection. It is offered with a mechanical ball-bearing two-stage trigger (M) or an electronic trigger (E/Expert), across aluminium (Blacktec/Alutec), laminated-wood (Anatomic), and hand-laid carbon-fibre stock variants.

At the Paris 2024 Olympics, Walther KK500 rifles swept all three men's 50m three-position medals and took the women's gold, cementing the model's billing as the most successful smallbore match rifle in the world.
