The Pedersoli Rolling Block Baby Carbine is a compact single-shot breech-loading carbine that reproduces the classic Remington rolling block action in a short, handy package. Chambered in .357 Magnum, it pairs a 20-inch round barrel with an oiled walnut stock and a color case-hardened receiver, and is aimed at hunting and recreational target shooting.
The rolling block action, patented by Remington in the 1860s, was one of the most successful single-shot military and sporting mechanisms of the black-powder era. Pedersoli's Baby Carbine keeps that simple, robust breechblock design alive for modern shooters, scaling it down into a lightweight carbine chambered for handgun cartridges.
